Scott Sulkin

Personal Trainer   If you are between the ages of 5 to 95 years old, then Scott Sulkin is the personal trainer for you!   Scott brings an immeasurable amount of experience to Pulse Fitness. He’s worked in the metro area for over 10 years as one of the region’s leading trainers in children and teens. His clientele doesn't stop there - Scott knows how to make every fitness journey challenging, motivating and fun – no matter your age!   Scott's training style has been molded from mentors over the years so he’s equipped to help you reach your maximum fitness potential. After growing up in Maryland, Scott moved to New York to study health sciences at Hofstra University.   While at Hofstra, Scott worked in the athletic training department as well as the biology department as an assistant in anatomy and physiology. After college, Scott moved back to Maryland where he worked at National Rehabilitation Hospital's Physical Therapy Clinic in Bethesda. As he moved from physical therapy into full time fitness training, Scott worked for Elite Athlete Training Systems as their Jr. Fitness and Post Rehabilitation Director, running classes for kids in Montgomery County, which he is still enjoying today.

Ochieng Asugo

Personal Trainer   Get ready to see results with personal trainer, Ochieng Asugo. He’s been a fitness professional for more than 10 years – focusing on personal training and group exercise instruction.   As a former track and field competitor and coach, Ochieng has a passion for running and sports conditioning. But, as a personal trainer, he knows one size doesn’t fit all. Ochieng understands the importance of each client’s individual needs and he can help you develop your plan to reach your fitness goals in no time.   Ochieng received his B.S. in Communication Studies from Towson University. He is a National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer and Fitness Nutrition Specialist. He is also a certified USA Track and Field Coach (level 1).   When he’s not helping motivating others, Ochieng is keeping active himself. He enjoys acting, discovering new music and taking part in many recreational sports. He’s also an avid runner and you may see him lacing up at local 5k races.

Leona Agouridis

Leona is an experienced instructor who has taught almost every popular format in the last 20 plus years – from step aerobics and kickboxing to group weight lifting. Her favorite formats include strength training and core conditioning.

Leona feels that all of us are athletes at some level. She strives to make each class fun, challenging, and efficient. She wants each participant to leave class feeling stronger and more confident, and to carry that confidence to other parts of their daily lives.

Leona feels that exercise is an important life-long commitment. She has continued to teach while raising a family and pursing a demanding career. She has worked as Registrar of Voters for DC and an Assistant General Manager of Metro. When Leona is not teaching group exercise, she is the Executive Director of the Golden Triangle Business Improvement District.

A variation of balance, stability and strength moves. This class uses a continuous flow of exercises designed to streamline and sculpt your entire body.  Non-stop, action-packed movement keeps the heart rate up for one super effective sculpting session.
